Not sure where where i ended the last email but I’ll make this quick. I’ve been traveling with a great bunch of people, It’s all been fantastic.
Prague:
Very nice city but not overly exciting. I did the usual touristy thing but think 4 days was too long.
Italy:
Rome – So much fun. With a group of 7 people from all over the globe (South Africa, Canada & Montreal, Russia, Germany) we decided to break into the Colosseum at 3am. It was the most exciting thing I’ve ever done. The fence is almost 4 meters high with patrolling security guards (see photos). I hurt my ankle on the way back and have been limping ever since.
Florence – beautiful city, very surprising. i had no expectations and had a great hostel. once again, nice people and food etc. I’ll definitely go back here
Venice – WAY too many tourists, i was there on a holiday weekend and it was packed. Still, picture perfect and exciting. I made it out to some surrounding towns which was nice.
Switzerland (Interlaken)
Made it to the top of Europe (not the highest, but still impressive). Covered in snow and surrounded by glaciers. Very nice. We stayed in a small town named Interlaken, surrounded by the Swiss alps. Every one must visit this place! I’ll be heading back in the snow season
France
i’m in Paris at the moment, just finishing off my trip. This has been so good! I’m heading back a bit earlier than expected. My ankle has been driving me crazy and made some of the longer days difficult. I’ll be heading off to Ireland and Scotland in the next few weeks.
I noticed some one had opened my backpack during the day in Florence, luckily nothing was missing. Very close. I’ve only just been able to recharge my phone, sorry about not replying to messages.

I’m stuck in the Prague airport for 4 hours…another delayed flight, time for a quick update. I’m keeping this brief, no long poetic emails from me.
- London was great, it was a nice kick-start to my trip.
- Amsterdam was fantastic. Met some nice people who came to Berlin with me. I honestly don’t remember too much. I’ll go back in a few weeks and try it again.
- Berlin was a big surprise. I didn’t have any expectations and was blown away. Great night life, brilliant city & people.
- I was suppose to go to Poland but decided to meet up with a group of travellers in Prague. Prague was a bit dirty and run down in some areas, lots of junkies too. The people aren’t as tolerant as Berlin. Again, the night life was good, however a girl tried to hit me. No, i wasn’t being a sleeze at all… she was a real slut nugget (sorry mum, she was).
- I couldn’t get a flight to turkey so I’m off to Italy.
- I’ll stay in Rome for 3 nights then trek south to Naples. I want to spend at least a week in Italy, I’ve heard only good things.
Where to then? I’m not 100% yet but I may jump to Athens then do the Greek islands. Still yet to find an internet cafe with a USB connection so i cant upload any photos.

London is amazing. For a big city, I’m surprise as to how much I love it. It’s like Melbourne on steroids, I’m a big fan on Melbourne. I went to a very hip area called Camden. For Brissy folks, this is the Valley or Westend of London. Very cool, lots of music, culture, coffee shops, markets, bars, hard-core punks, druggos, hypos, hippies and whores. Put all of these together, sit back and watch….you’ve get a mixed bag of fun and entertainment. I haven’t watched a second of TV yet, I’ve stayed at my place about 40% of the time so far, I’m absolutely stress free and have gained complete faith in the London tubes. There is so much to do, I dread starting work when I get back from Europe. Speaking of work, I went for a job interview yesterday and it was GREAT. They want me to start once I return from my trip. It’s a funky fashion design agency named minaUK (minaUK.com). They design clothes for celebrities and high profiles, very cool office and very cool people, it’s just off Oxford St.
I saw a strange guy repeatedly button and unbutton 5 or 6 shirts hanging in a row. He was really high.
Speaking of high, off to Amsterdam tomorrow.

I’m laying in a tiny 2m x 2m room in Tokyo airport. For USD$24 you get this great little room with a shower, bed and refreshments for 4 hours. Fantastic, just what i needed.
Tokyo’s cold 10* outside.

Hello!
Well, I’m not going to be all poetic, this will just be general notes about what’s been happening, where I’ve been and what I’ve been doing. I wont drag on with long stories that you’ll never read, I’ll keep it brief, summarised and to the point.
Any way folks, it’s my last day in Australia and i’m giving my farewells. See you in a few years.
